The dark side of trip-hop rears its mesmerising head on the new EP from Bristol-based Yogi and Trickster Queen, who deliver four bass-heavy cuts which carry the torch for one of the city’s most charismatic sounds.
The Deep In My Mind EP, which has just dropped on NB Audio, throws the gritty productions of Yogi and the haunting vocals of 22-year-old Romanian Trickster Queen together for a late-night drive down the back-alleys of a genre which is Bristol through and through.
